Madera County Farm Bureau Celebrates its Centennial!

The Madera County Farm Bureau is excited to announce 100 years of service and prosperity!  MCFB joins an elite club of California county Farm Bureaus who have the distinguished honor of serving their local residents for a century, only 5 others in the Country and State!

The Madera County Farm Bureau was formally established in 1914 as a major insurance provider for people in all industries, not just for agricultural purposes.  Its mission was to provide a reasonable insurance base for peoples seeking economic opportunity in California.  Most farm bureaus were originally created as insurance cooperatives, later developing the advocacy roles that commonly governs the bureaus today.

The Madera County Farm Bureau will be celebrating its centennial over the course of the next year –but would like to invite you to attend our annual meeting of members on October 14th, where we will be unveiling historic photographs of the Farm Bureau and Madera County Agriculture!  You’ll also learn about the Farm Bureau’s upcoming activities in health and safety and agricultural advocacy.
Come help us celebrate!
